I stopped drinking Coca-Cola after I found out that it's good only for removing toilet stains.

I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle infected with AIDS

I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they cause cancer.

I also stopped answering the phone for fear that they may ask me to dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill from hell with calls to Uganda , Singapore and Tokyo.

I also stopped drinking water outside for fear that I will get sick from the rat shit and urine.

When I go to parties, I don't look at any girl, no matter how hot she is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me, then take my kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl that was about to die in the hospital about 7,000 times. (Poor girl! she's been

1993...)

My free Nokia phone never arrived and neither did the free passes for a paid vacation to Disneyland.

Made some Hundred wishes before forwarding those Dalai Lama, Ganesh Vandana, Tirupathi Balaji pics etc..

Now most of those "Wishes" are already married (to someone else)!

I'm fairly certain that I went to the best concert of my life yesterday. Actually, there's no "fairly" about it. Certainly the best. And there were a host of shitty opening acts, too!

This is about the series of events leading up to the Linkin Park concert at Planet Rishra. Some of this is just a random series of events but all happened prior to me going to the concert. Some of this may not be pertinent to the concert but it was all a series of very bad luck leading me to think that they may have been a sign that I shouldn't have gone to that concert, but it was all worth it in the end to me. All of these events really happened to me.

It all started about a month prior to the concert. I had been looking at the different shows, and it seemed to me that the closest one was in Konnagar (Near to Planet Rishra). So me and my friend Jakhar decided to pre-order the tickets online. Since I didn't have a credit or debit card at the time coz our company pay us too small that we are out of credit range to offer by any bank, me and Jakhar decided that we would pay our Nagi sir for the tickets and he would use his credit card to buy us the tickets. The first transaction we tried our Nagi sir's card came back declined, so he called his card company and found out that Visa was having minor problems with their cards being approved at the time, and was advised that we should try again in 2 days. So... Two days later, we try again and right as we were about to finish the transaction suddenly.... My computer crashes. We ended up spending the rest of the day trying to get the computer back up and running. So, the next day we get the Internet up and running and we try to order the tickets. At this point I'm thinkin 3rd times a charm, right? WRONG!!! Right as I'm about to finish the transaction for the 3RD TIME... Jakhar picks up the phone (we were on dial up at the time) and disconnects me from the Internet. GRRR!!! So Finally, after 4 tries we finally get the tickets ordered.

O now its Sept 21, 2006, one day before the concert. I went over to Nagi Sir's room to pick up supplies for our trip and plan our route. As you can see the luck that I had prior to the concert hasn't been so good thus far. Well now were on the day of. Lets just say that my luck doesn't much better.

Jakhar had orginally set the alarm to go off at 5am because Konnagar is pretty much an 5 min in Local Train. Well as LUCK would have it, his power went off during the night and reset the alarm so we didn't wake unitl 7am. So we hurry up and get dressed, grab breakfast, and hit the road. Now as were cruising along everything is moving smoothly. We were actually making good time considering we left almost 3 hours later then we had intended to. As we got about 10 miles out of Konnagar, without any kind of warning, suddenly the radio cut off. As we got about 5 miles out of Konnagar, we hit road construction and we had to stop because of traffic. Suddenly the rickshaw cut off. Rickshaw wala restarted it and me moved along a little more. Then the rickshaw cut off again. I pulled the rickshaw over to the middle median because I there was construction on the other side of the road. We got out and checked the tires. Neither me nor Jakhar really know anything about Rickshaws, so the tires looked fine to us.

I don't know if any of you reading this has ever been to Konnagar or live there, but the whole Gaon is pretty much one giant ghetto. Bearing that in mind, please try to imagine what the next series of events were like for us. As we drove back in to Gaon, we spotted someone who didn't look like they wanted to kill us, and we stopped and asked for directions to the nearest Autozone or something like that. He said it was just up the street and around the corner, so we started heading that way. We just about made it to the store (I mean the store was within view) when the Rickshaw stalled again.

Jakhar got out to push the Rickshaw the rest of the way into the parking lot. We pulled both cycle out of the Rickshaw took them into Rihsra's Rickshaw parts to get them flattened. So while they were flattening we walked down to McDonald's to get some food because we hadn't really eaten since breakfast.

So at this point we decided to head on over to the concert and figure out what to do afterwards. Well, THAT CONCERT TOTALLY ROCKED!!! I even got a high five from Mike Shinoda. That Was probably one of the craziest adventures that I have ever had. Please tell me what you think!

Let's break down love into five stages: (1) attraction, (2) romance, (3) passion, (4) intimacy, & (5) commitment.

Stage 1. ATTRACTION - A positive response to a person beyond friendship. This can further be broken down into two areas: (a) physical attraction & (b ) emotional attraction.

A.Physical Attraction - Happens when your body reacts to another person.Symptoms : Heart rate increases, temperature rises, palms get sweaty; stomach flutters; throat tightens; etc. This is the most superficial of "loves" on one level, but one of the most powerful on another. It represents the first contact. Read more about this

B. Emotional Attraction - develops next if the circumstances are right. After being drawn to a person physically, you then begin to converse. If you find you have things in common -- hobbies, ideologies, career, education, or some other common ground -- then an emotional attraction starts to form.

An emotional attraction can also occur even when a physical attraction does not. And in this case, the bond may even be stronger between the two who connect, since no preconceived notions based on physical appearance has occurred.

Stage 2.ROMANCE - essentially an act of trying to influence or gain favor of another by lavishing attention or gifts upon them. There are two type of romance: (a) selfish romance & (b ) selfless romance.

(A) Selfish Romance - occurs when you do romantic acts solely for the purpose of gaining something for yourself -- like to get gifts, to impress someone else, or even simply for sexual favors whether your partner is interested or not.

(B) Selfless Romance - occurs when you do romantic acts for the enjoyment and pleasure of your partner. You receive your enjoyment and pleasure through their happiness.

Selfish romance (& love) will quickly die out. Selfless romance (& love) will endure. Because romance is an "act," many couples who have been together a long time take it for granted. With a conscious effort, it can be rekindled.

Stage 3.PASSION - A desire for another person, which has grown to an intensity that can't be ignored. This is often where an emotional relationship turns into a physical relationship. The passion stage is very important. It's a plateau.

From here, the relationship will fork into two roads, and the couple must decide which path to take. The relationship will either burn itself out or will move onto the next stage. Read more about dilema at this stage

Stage 4.INTIMACY - A close association with another person of the deepest nature. You share you thoughts, your feelings, your dreams. In true intimacy, there is nothing that you cannot tell this person (though we often hesitate because of our own unfounded fears).

Intimacy is not total in one swoop. It is a developing process, which never ends. If you can't establish intimacy with your partner, your relationship may work for a while, but is unlikely to endure throughout the years.

Stage 5.COMMITMENT - A pledge to remain true to your mate throughout good and bad times. Commitment is easy when times are good. Commitment can be extremely difficult when times are bad. Learn to ride out the bad times.

MBA 9 suffering - Reason : Tata Indicom and Reliance Infocom

Last Night Just because of network failure between Reliance Infocom and Tata Indicom, mba9 caught red handed.

As usually we were interacting with our new friends when two jealous guys whose have made their hobby to move around in the campus whole night during a specific period of time in a year [they should tell this in their intro, if sometime taken] could not sustain the heat of our new FRIENDSHIP, they could not sustain our devotion to make the new friends understand whats "SHAHI SALAMI" and informed the supreme authority of nights.

But you know we too have some well wishers of our friendship and got the information of her departure.

The "bharat milap" was going on in the VTC and newly made Dorm (bade bhai equipped with a Reliance Infocomm connection). Our Well-wisher was in M block with a Tata Indicom connection while. As soon as the snipper in the M-Block missed his target to hold down the enemy and forcee them back to their Fort (or Jail) he tried to inform the Assault team; but Alas!!! these stupid people at Reliance Infocom! and Tata Indicom! they couldn't provide a reliable network even between such a small distance how they cover the whole nation, you can understand (kar lo duniya muthi main... huh? Mutthi???? yehi sahi hai...).

Before they could have been alerted they were..., if you dont know she is smart in taking HEAD shot, literally.

2 Men down.

Big discussion, big time apologies, threat of parade in front of the supreme power in the lights - [INPUT FROM HIS OWN MEN - aap nahi jante wo kitna kamina hai..]. Everything... final result was that we need to parade in front of her in a dual color dress, this was also a result of an hour long request.

Any way upto this moments our people are safe, no damage.But how we will continue our friendship, they dont understand it. Most of the bade bhais opine that ignore them, dont make friendships with new birds, coz our enemy opine once you have asked their names and so called intro what else you want to do.. dont interact anymore... so its better to ignore them ... I dont want to use that proper and special word... do you get it... what do you say? We should leave them alone untill they come to us and ask give us more or fight with our enemy? Who is responsible, dont you think the whole episode was just because of the poor compatibilty between two rival telecommunication networks?

Im writing this post as a response to Kaushik Nandi's act with the puppy. Nandi I don see, why you have to go so out of your way to apologise about a mistake that hurt that dog. You are sorry and that is enough and would be careful in future while handling little ones.

Anyways my reason for writing this is the reaction that everyone has shown to this incident which I feel is ridiculous. When the dog is at its puppy age, he is welcome into the college, treated with love and affection, fed well and even taken special care of by a lot of people. We saw how people fed it and looked after it when it got hurt.

The same puppy when grows into middle age, the affection is always pocketed by people and the "puppy" is no more cute.

Thts not it, when the "puppy" is a full grown dog, he gets kicked around out of the college and deprived of the love and affection that those affectionate people had shown when he was little. The dog is very used to it now and feels all the more hurt and confused about why is he being dealt with harshly, which is worse than not being over affectionate in the first place.

If people are sensible they would keep their distance from the puppies since the beginning which in the long run is a bigger gesture of care, love and affection. So Nandi, you can get the guilt of yourself now and take it easy, Don play with the dogs, keep them away, its a dignified college, we can't have animals inside the building. Ha!

This is to all those whom i have hurt ( Though unkowingly). I am writting this blog just bcoz i felt that i should make my confession in front of everyone and so that people can understand me. Nobody has advised me to write ths blog and i guess nobody can force me to do so.
First of all I am extremely "SORRY"that i flipped the poor litle pup ( I did not kiked it) into the air and it got hurt badly.
Now all u guys out there who also like nature's creatures and now they will think that I am inhumane and why did i do it,wont believe me if i say that it was unintentional mistake. Though i feel that i ve done wrong. But now,is there any point if all u guys out there ask me repeatedly" HOW COULD U DO THIS TO A LITTLE PUP?".
Now shall I ask U people a simple question? I too love creatures and not just dogs I love all creatures. Now I ask that what is the difference between hurting a dog and killing a rat or a machhar with poison? Is that act justified. and for that reason why doesn't all af us turn to vegetarian and stop eating chicken or fish being served in the mess? i know my logic would sound stupid to most of u people as u cant compare a chicken with a "PYAAARA LITTLE PUP". But for me A life is a life whether it is a dog or a rat or a chiken. Also are tribes in INDIA in Nagaland who eat dogs.
Now u would wonder if i m being too adament and sounding haughty. For that u r the judge and thinking rationally u will come to a conclusion which i leave to u people.
I just want to say that though i admit my mistake, i dont know why people are making an issue out of my act.
And now I have something to discuss with u people:
1) These dogs enter our roms and sit on our bed in the Boys hostel and i dont think they are hygenic enough to be let into our rooms. Who is responsible for these dogs loitering in around the hostel area.

Hey dont think that I am defending my act. I promise to u people that i would never ever hurt any creature and in return I would appreciate if u people stop killing any creature( like mosquitos for example and use mosquito net instead coils) and all of us turn vegetarian. Also if some people are very very emotionally attached to any category of creature make sure that those creatures doesnt affect any person.

And Lastly it is my personal request that" DONT MAKE AN ISSUE OUT OF IT".

I guess for those i am writing this read it and i hope some comments also.

There are many new bloggers who needs some guidance, so I'm providing some tips for our new potential bloggers of AIM,

1^st thing I would like to say is "Jo Dikhta Hai Woh Bikta Hai - What you see is what you buy" in simple terms presentation of your blog is one of main thing.
Choose some decent and simple template for your blog, Some of the site for templates are - Blogger-Temp, thur's templates and by caz

After choosing decent template, you can also customise it in blogger.com but if don't know any thing about html then you can take help of Narendra or Mine. or there is another choice you can start blogging at Wordpress where customisation is like piece of cake.
At side bar you can give the referal links of AIM bloggers Like I did in my blog or any other blogs you can find.
Customise comments settings - You should allow everybody to comment on your blog for that go to settings>>comments and the select comments by anyone option but at the sametime you should also turn on the word verfication option.
If upper Navbar irritates you then you can remove it here is the tips for removing Navbar
If you want to track the no. of users visit your blog then best free tracker is Extreame Tracker, you can see the demo of mine tracker.
Get Banner or picture in header
Post good stuffs regularly - Whatever you do if you don't post a good stuff regularly then nobody will visit your blog, the ideal interval for posting is 1 post per day or you can also post 1 post in the interval of 3-4 days.
Installing a new template in Blogger

Because there are questions about how to install a new template in Blogger here's a Quick Guide:

1) Download or copy the desired template codes from any above mentioned sites.

2) Save your current template first-

Chances are you have coded several additions in your current template.So first you should save the old template somewhere.

Blogger Dashboard > Template > Edit current

Select ('Ctrl A'), Copy ('Ctrl C') and Paste ('Ctrl V') the template code in a file.

3) Install the new template

Open the saved new (nandu-templates.txt or whatever) template file .

Select, Copy and Paste the new code in the Template Edit Window.

If you have any addition you want in the new template, you should copy them from the old one.

Activate the new template (Save Template Changes)

Then choose Republish (You must Republish your blog to see the changes) ... and you are done!

This is my first post on Page3. my second semester exams are coming and ...many friends of mine are in tension regarding exams... i can tell you different tecniques of cheating in exams.

1) Have confidence in you while cheating in exams.
2) Dont look at examiner while cheating.
3) You have to be very quick in cheating as quick as you are as sucessful you will be.
4) Start cheating as soon as you get question paper bec teacher will be busy in distribution and attendance.
5) Should have less body movements. As more body movements you have, more you will be pointed out
6) Whatever chit you open first, complete that chit first and dont keep it with you for rest of the time.
7) Keep on writing any shit when teacher walks through you.
8) Make smart chits dont write mahabharat in chits.
9) Try to ask any LOGICAL question from teacher so that teacher should think he has studied and going to do own his on. Teacher will ignore you in class and u can carry on your activity

The day wehn we will start writing our future... At least now I can say this; when I have just came from photography session in the diro office where toppers of MBA 8 recieved their scholarship cheques.

Although toppers from 2 batches of MBA (7 & 8) and 2 of MCA (4 & 5) were listed but only MBA8 students were present...and yes this time too girls on top.

While everybody was waiting for the ceremony (if we could say that) Col. Nial was asking to Abha mam why everywhere girls are scoring higher than boys.

Off course its the decipline (self decipline) but its also true in case of AIM that boys misuse their freedom. Girls have their fixd time to stay out. But boys are free to go anywhere they wish. And we use this freedom as we like. Going to GP at .. at.. you tell the time... playing CS up to morning 3. Listening music and doing BC whole night. But it does not mean we don't study. We score according to our effort But if I will see our first semester;the 8 point-someone-club will tell the truth.

Personally, I don't think there are many boys who think or dream to score matching with the highter. I-am-here-to-do-mba. Is it required to score 8 to 9 points. Everybody will get job here.

When I came to AIM I was un-aware of the word 'FARRREEE' [till now m not sure of spelling]even-dictionary-denied for existance of this word. There are many people who will do HARD WORK [ :-) ] for scoring high but.... this is the case in AIM but other places around...
